5 - Blacksmith's workshop

Based on a finding from Bořitov, object 2/72
A half-sunken house is a structure partially recessed into the ground. The recessing improves thermal insulation of the
space and saves building material. The half-sunken house could serve as living quarters, a workshop, or storage. Here
you can see blacksmith tools, bellows, materials, and equipment for smelting iron ore, casting bronze, and producing
coins. Instead of a fireplace, a clay oven serves as the heating device here.
