German Grey Heath
The German Grey Heath is an ancient breed originating from the heathlands of northern Germany. This breed is one of the oldest in Europe and resembles the sheep bred during the time of the Celts.
Lambs are born with black fur, which turns brown during their first year, and only after their first shearing does their gray wool grow. Interestingly, females also have horns, although the rams’ horns are more massive.
We have been breeding sheep in the Land of the Celts since 2016. We shear them ourselves and use their wool not only for textile production but also, for example, as insulation in construction.
You can pet the sheep and feed them fresh grass. Please do not feed the sheep anything else.
