Kiln Shelter
Based on a finding from Brčekoly
The Celts fired pottery in two-chamber kilns with a separated firebox. The pottery was stacked in a dome on a grate and thus did not come into direct contact with the fuel. This arrangement allowed better temperature regulation and higher quality firing.
