Outdoor Kitchen with Bread Oven
Based on findings from the Závist oppidum, near gate A, obj.13
If weather permitted, food was prepared outdoors and collectively for several families. The most common dishes might have been savory and sweet grain or legume porridges, thick soups, and mixtures of grains, legumes, and vegetables. Meat and dairy products were also included. Sourdough bread or unleavened flatbreads could be baked in the dome-shaped ovens.
