We know virtually no graves from the oppidum period. If any are found, they are very shallow cremation burials, so it
can be assumed that most oppidum burial grounds were destroyed by plowing in the following centuries. The dead, along
with grave goods, were most likely burned on funeral pyres, and their ashes were then placed in shallow grave pits along
the roads leading from the oppidum.
